Privacy policy

What Wire Edge Digital collects when you use this site, why, who else handles it, how long it is kept, and what you can ask us to do about it. Written to be read, not skimmed past.

Last updated 1 October 2026

The short version

  • Browsing the site puts no tracking or advertising cookies on your device unless you accept analytics cookies. Our basic visitor statistics use no cookies at all.
  • Sending an enquiry shares what you type with us, and with the services that help us receive and answer it. Some of them are outside India.
  • We do not sell or share your personal data for advertising, and we do not add you to a mailing list. The one automated email you receive is the receipt for your enquiry.
  • You can ask to see, correct or delete what we hold, or withdraw your consent, at any time: contact@wireedgedigital.com.

Who we are

Wire Edge Digital is a sole proprietorship owned by Aayush Ramchander, based in Hyderabad, India.

Under India’s Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 we are the Data Fiduciary for the personal data described here, and under the EU and UK GDPR the controller.

Grievance Officer: Aayush Ramchander, contact@wireedgedigital.com, +91 81431 13555.

What we collect, and why

When you send an enquiry

What you type:

  • Name and email address (required)
  • Company, and phone or WhatsApp number (optional)
  • The services you are interested in, and a budget range (optional)
  • Your message (required)
  • How you heard about us, and who referred you (optional)
  • Your agreement to the consent statement, with the time you gave it

Added automatically when you send it:

  • Where your visit started: the first page you opened on our site, the site that linked you to us (its address only, never its search terms), any campaign tags in that link (the utm_ values), and whether you arrived by clicking an ad. None of this can identify you. It is held in your browser tab only, deleted when you close the tab, and sent to us only if you submit the form.
  • Your approximate country, worked out by Cloudflare from your internet address at the moment you send. We keep the country name, not the address.
  • An anti-spam check by Cloudflare Turnstile, which runs once you start filling in the form. It looks at signals from your browser to tell a person from a bot. We receive only a pass or fail.

Why: to reply to you, to keep a record of what you asked for, to prepare a proposal if you want one, and to learn which channels bring enquiries.

Our basis: your consent, which you give by ticking the box on the form (DPDP Act, section 6; GDPR Article 6(1)(a)), and taking steps you asked for before any contract (GDPR Article 6(1)(b)). Your enquiry is used for nothing else, and shared with no one who is not helping us answer it.

When you browse the site

  • Hostinger delivers every page from its servers in India. To do that it processes your internet address and the technical details of each request, such as your browser type and the page asked for, and keeps them in standard server logs.
  • Cloudflare Web Analytics gives us visitor totals, the pages people read and how fast pages load for real visitors. It uses no cookies, and does not identify or follow individual visitors.

Our basis: keeping the site secure and working, which is our legitimate interest (GDPR Article 6(1)(f)) and a legitimate use under the DPDP Act.

Analytics — only if you accept

When you first visit, a banner asks whether you accept analytics cookies. Until you accept, nothing from Google loads at all. If you reject them, or ignore the banner, the site works exactly the same.

If you accept:

  • Google Tag Manager loads, and loads Google Analytics. Tag Manager itself sets no cookies and collects nothing about you.
  • Google Analytics 4 measures how the site is used: the pages you view, how long you stay, the kind of device and browser, your approximate location (city level), how you arrived, and actions such as sending the enquiry form — never what you wrote in it. It sets cookies to tell a returning browser from a new one. Google does not log or store your IP address in Analytics 4. We keep this data for 14 months.
  • Google signals is switched on. For visitors signed in to a Google account who allow ad personalisation in their Google settings, Google adds age range, gender and interests to our reports, and links visits from different devices. We only ever see these as totals across many visitors, never about you, and we do not use them to show you ads. You control this in your own Google account, at myadcenter.google.com.

You can change your mind at any time: , here or in the footer of every page.

Our basis: your consent (GDPR Article 6(1)(a); DPDP Act, section 6).

We do not use advertising pixels, such as Google Ads or Meta. If that changes, we will update this page first and ask for your consent before any of them load.

Google Search Console

Search Console tells us which Google searches show our site and how often those results are clicked. Google reports these as totals, not about anyone in particular. It puts nothing on your device and collects nothing from you on our site.

Cookies and similar storage

Do Not Track and Global Privacy Control

If your browser sends a Global Privacy Control signal, we treat it as a rejection of analytics cookies: Google Analytics will not load, and the banner will not ask. Browsers’ older Do Not Track setting has no agreed standard, so the site does not respond to it — but nothing on the site tracks you across other websites either way, and analytics runs only with your consent.

Who else handles your data

We use a small number of services to run the site and answer enquiries. Each processes data only to provide its service to us.

ServiceWhat it does for usWhere your data is
CloudflareOur domain’s DNS, the form’s server, spam check, basic visitor statisticsUnited States company; worldwide network
ResendDelivers the enquiry email to us, and your receipt to youUnited States company; sends through Amazon Web Services in Japan
HubSpotOur CRM, where enquiries become contacts, companies and dealsUnited States company; stored in the United States
HostingerHosts the website and our email inboxServers in India; backups in Singapore

We never sell or rent personal data. We disclose it to anyone else only if the law requires us to.

Data sent outside India

Some of these services store or process data outside India, mainly in the United States, Japan and Singapore. The DPDP Act allows this except to countries the Government of India restricts, and none of these is restricted. For visitors in the EU, UK or Switzerland, these services protect transfers using the European Commission’s Standard Contractual Clauses or the EU–US Data Privacy Framework, as set out in their data processing terms.

How long we keep it

WhatHow long
An enquiry that does not become work24 months after our last contact, then deleted
Client recordsFor the length of the engagement, then as long as Indian tax and accounting law requires
Google Analytics data14 months
The wed-visit tab storageUntil you close the tab
Technical and security logsA limited period set by Cloudflare and Hostinger, then deleted

You can ask us to delete your data sooner; see below.

Your rights

These rights apply to everyone, wherever you are. You can ask us to:

  • tell you what personal data we hold about you, and who we have shared it with;
  • correct, complete or update it;
  • delete it, unless the law requires us to keep it;
  • stop using it, by withdrawing your consent. Withdrawing is as easy as giving it — one email — and does not affect anything done before.

Under the DPDP Act you can also nominate someone to exercise these rights if you die or become unable to. Under the GDPR you can also ask us to restrict or object to processing, and to send your data to you or to another company in a portable format. We will never treat you differently for using any of these rights.

How: email contact@wireedgedigital.com with “Privacy request” in the subject line. We may ask you to confirm your identity, so that we never hand your data to someone pretending to be you. We will reply within one month.

Complaints: tell our Grievance Officer first. If you are not satisfied, you can complain to the Data Protection Board of India, or, in the EU or UK, to your local data protection authority.

Language: this notice is in English. If you would like it in any language listed in the Eighth Schedule to the Constitution of India, ask us and we will provide it.
